Aluminium windows
Aluminium is strong enough to hold large panes in narrow frames, so you see more glass and less frame. It doesn't rot, warp or rust, and a powder-coated or anodised finish holds up to years of sun and dust.
Ways it opens
Casement
Hinged at the side and opens fully, for airflow and easy cleaning.
Sliding
Panels slide past each other, so nothing swings into the room.
Top-hung
Hinged at the top, so it can stay open in light rain.
Fixed
Doesn't open. Used for the largest panes and the widest views.
